阎煦（1996年生于中国青岛）是一位现居米兰的画家，他的作品构建了一个平行的视觉世界，融合了古老的仪式、当代的体验和神秘的象征意义。阎煦毕业于四川美术学院（2018年）和米兰布雷拉美术学院（2024年），他的油画作品游走于具象与梦幻般的抽象之间。他的构图——流体的形体、漂浮的形态、暧昧的风景——营造出一种催眠般的氛围，真实与超现实之间的界限在此消融。

评论家们将他的绘画语言描述为通过感知回归崇高，挑战理性的表述，同时重拾绘画的感染力。阎煦的作品呼应了超现实主义的片段，却又根植于当今的视觉文化，在一个超越时间的维度上展开，在瞬息万变的宇宙中，人性显得脆弱而纠缠。

Biography 

Yan Xu (b. 1996, Qingdao, China) is a Milan-based painter whose work constructs a parallel visual world that merges ancient ritual, contemporary experience, and mystical symbolism. Graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (2018) and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan (2024), Xu creates oil paintings that oscillate between figuration and dreamlike abstraction. His compositions—fluid bodies, floating forms, ambiguous landscapes—evoke a hypnotic atmosphere where the boundaries between the real and the hyperreal dissolve.

Described by critics as a return to the sublime through sensation, his pictorial language challenges rational representation while reclaiming the evocative power of painting. Echoing fragments of Surrealism yet rooted in today’s visual culture, Xu’s works unfold in an atemporal dimension where humanity appears fragile and entangled in an ever-shifting cosmos.

His recent solo exhibitions include Connessioni Impossibili (Florence, 2024) and PANTA REI (Salerno, 2024), and he has participated in group shows across Italy and China, including the Todi Biennale, the Premio Giovanni Colacicchi, and the Guangdong Museum of Art.
